We do advise on the website that this product when dispatched is freighted by unrefrigerated transport. Product may deform and partly melt when transported to warmer destinations in particular in the summer months. This can cause the chocolate to bloom, when the fats rise to the top, however, this doesn't affect the taste or shelf life of your chocolate and is still completely safe to eat.

My wife is 58 years old and loves Maxines Burn Bars. Her classic quote is "They taste too good to be good for you. ! But they are" . She eats 1/2 a bar for a snack on the train in on way home, it takes away the hungry feeling and then she goes for her power walk. East the other 1/2 later. A Good product.
