Dumbbell Rear Lateral Raise
Dumbbell Rear Lateral Raise Technique. This exercise is performed on a 45 degree incline bench and really works the rear head or posterior head of the deltoid (shoulder) and really helps to give a fuller deltoid. Initiate the exercise by raising the dumbbells up, taking them straight out to the side, with a slight bend in the elbows, squeezing the dumbbells at the top of the movement & lowering slowly. Remember to maintain a good posture otherwise you might place excess strain on the neck. Don'ts: Elbows coming too far back, swinging the weight with the body & without control are to be avoided.
